Fairground rides for your Tuscan wedding

Fairground ride rental for your wedding in Tuscany? The luna park is every child's dream — and, let's be honest, a good deal of fun for grown-ups too. Bringing fairground rides into a big celebration has become a genuine trend, purely for the joy of the guests.

In the wedding world especially, the luna park has been used for years as a theme or backdrop, and a string of high-profile celebrity weddings has only pushed the idea further into the spotlight.

Matrimonio Toscana lets you spin that same fairy tale, with luna-park ride rental right across Tuscany.

The origins of the luna park

The origins of the luna park

The name traces back to one of the first permanent amusement parks to use it, built at Coney Island, New York, in 1903.

Parks in the same spirit soon followed and adopted the label — the Prater in Vienna, the Englischer Garten in Munich, and by the 1920s Tivoli in Copenhagen and Tibidabo in Barcelona.

In Italian, "luna park" came to mean this kind of amusement park in general, while in Denmark the equivalent is Tivoli. (Source: Wikipedia)
